Métis scholar Maddie Reddon is hosting a writing workshop for Indigenous graduate students. Come prepared with a piece of writing you're working on: it can be your conference paper or any other work in progress!

This is also an opportunity for Indigenous graduate students to visit and connect!

Madeleine Reddon (Métis) is a PhD candidate in the Department of English Language and Literatures at the University of British Columbia. She has recently published an article in Canada and Beyond: A Journal of Canadian Literary and Cultural Studies: “Indigenous Modernism: Dehabituating Reading Practices.” Her dissertation, “Indigenous and Other Modernisms: Negotiating Inheritance in the Colonial Archive,” recenters Indigenous avant-garde praxis within a global modernist tradition.
